‘Emo’ is actually a new kind of culture in which people have their own values, way of thinking and fashion statement. Emos create their own unique style as they don’t believe in following mainstream fashion whether it’s for clothes, accessories or haircuts.

first of all this is very far from emo. that said. it is very easy to do this hair yourself. go to sallys and buy a RAZOR COMB. go home and start combing. little pieces at first until you get the feel for the comb and see how it does. it isnt hard at all.
*sigh* if that wasnt simple enough go look it up on youtube, there are alot of videos you can watch that will tell you exactly what to do. hope this helps

if you want really poofy hair, back comb it (but not heavly, really lightly and with a brush (this is what i do)) and get it to the height you want it, hair spray it, and flick it out with your fingers… generally to do this you need really short layers at the top (cut in obviously) , (mine are about to the top of my ear and my natural length is down to my chest
)
((After you have back combed (teased)/backbrused it (i would say backbrush it on top, then tease it under neath for that extra height) hair spray it, ALOT! i use Schwarzkopf got2b glued but it depends on what you like ))

These photos are scene (not emo) for a start, but i dont think it matters THAT much.
-Anyway, go onto youtube for tutorials on how to get your hair teased (poofed up).
-Take photos of the hairstyle you want off google images, and show it to your stylist.
- Make sure you get layered THIN hair, from the midlengths, and the ends… and normal hair at the top (for teasing)
- Make sure your hair gets SHORT layers at the top, and longer as you go down
- AND MOST IMPORTANT!!!- “Cadellic Barbie” (07 3846 0889) is an emo/goth/alternative hair salon, so if you epically fail at trying to do scene hair yourself, and you hair stylist has no idea wtf “EMO HAIR” is… THEN THIS IS THE SALON TO GO!!! -I know there is one near the city in Brisbane.

EVERYONE!!!!!!!! the Blonde Girl is named Sabrina. shes my friend. and its kinda creepy that her photo is on this website. shes creeped out. lol.
Well.. I don’t understand how they make the look unique. Or express feelings through a hair cut. Creativity and imagination, maybe. But I do not see emotions or uniqueness here. And in a sense, I think you mean Scene as far as “unique” goes. To me, all “emo” styles look the same. Black and White ( Maybe some Neon, or full Neon color ), Poofy / Messy hair with some abnormal color added in on top of brunette, black or blonde. ( Or just a pure abnormal color ). So, I kind of find it crap to say they express their emotions and uniqueness through style. Most of them wear the same types of clothing and color, with very similar haircuts to the mainstream looks. So.. I believe you mean imagination and creativity, even then, aside from hair and bits of accessories, many are not imaginative/creative.
Being unique is creating your own style, not following any sort of one. It will have similarities to a type, but that’s when you mix styles. Emo and Scene are not unique styles, seeing as they >all< follow (a) specific look(s). Nice try at an explanation of this style, but you do miss many points and do not state truthful facts. ( I am semi-interested in this style, but from what I have seen in all honesty, there is hardly any imagination or feeling put into these styles. They just seem to like the look and want to follow it like so many kids do. )
A.K.A; people, that Blonde Emo Hairstyle girl, or, the second picture, is commonly used by “Emo”/”Scene” girls that do not want to show themselves for either insecurity or unkown reasons. I highly doubt any of you know her, even if you think you might. “She” is ALL over the Internet used as someones image. Dating Sites, Facebook, Myspace, Youtube, Photobucket, Tumblr, 4chan, ect.

This girl Lilly Gabriel Blond goth claims she is in a relationship with my 18 year old son and she claims she OD on Jan.19,2012 and died and my son thought he was in some relationship with her on facebook WOW This shows how low someone would go to get noticed in the wrong way. Unreal!!!
