How to Grow Emo Hair

“Emo” is the short form for Emotional Punk Movement. This movement’s culture has its distinctive ideas, values and fashion. The Emo’s are very rebellious people who do not adhere to the mainstream trends of fashion, they believe in creating their own individual style. Therefore, if you are an Emo then it should show that you are an Emo thereby it is very essential to have a distinct hairstyle of your own.

If you have a short hair and want to have an Emo hair style then just do not cut it for two months. As it grows, give it a direction by directing it to either of the eye. Once your hair reaches three fourth of your forehead, immediately visit a professional hairdresser. Ask the dresser to trim it and to make your hair thin, so that your hair gets the right shape.

After three months of maintaining the hair, your hair will get the Emo hairstyle look. From then on, you should go to the hairdresser each month to get the hair thinned and the desired style. You can cut the back short to get it spiked.

A good Emo hairstyle should finish near the nostril and the sides should be long. After nine to twelve months, you will get the exact Emo look and then on get it thinned and trimmed every month. And flaunt your style.

What are those horizontal lines on Kiki’s hair??? What are they called?

  4. Erika on April 23rd, 2009 at 6:42 pm

Horizontal Lines on hair is called ‘coon tails’
it looks best to get only 1-3 inches of it done.
not your whole head. i knew someone who did
her whole head in coon tails.. EW. dont even
THINK you can pull it off. only zebras can.
    =)

I’ve been thinking about an emo hairstyle, I really think that a lot of emo girls are beautiful. I don’t have a lot of money to go get the haircut though.

For everybody who wants ‘emo’ hair and thinks they cant because of curls, there wrong, I have super curly hair and I got the ‘emo/scene’ look, you can either straighten it every day, or get it chemically straightened, they both work really good, if you choose to straighten it, I suggest you get a thermal cream, gel, or spray so you dont get heat damage, you can get this at any store that carries hair products, and if your thinking about getting your hair chemically straightened, you should prepare your hair, get strengthening shampoo and conditioners, again you can get these at any store that carries hair products.
