Emo hairstyle is popular among fashion lovers. Emo hairstyle mainly depends on personal choice and the most important characteristic of emo hairstyles is that they are colored in unique hair colors such as pink, violet or blonde. Lighter colors like white blonde, purple and green are also common with emo hairstyle lovers, especially girls, however black hair color still prevails!

im not being funny or anything but freakin hell. geez guys, you cant just think, oh i wanna look emo, lets look and dress like one. Most of the time, when you label someone you get it wrong. i have a big fat side fringe, my hair mega volumized and black and pink/black and bright blue coontail extentions. i have my septum and lip peirced and i have an illegal tatoo (im not old enough yet but i know the right people
). I get called emo/scene kid all the time but strangly im not.
half of the people on those pics probably arent emo and would probably be pretty pissed to think someone reckons their emo and is gonna try to look like them. be yourself cuz lets face it, you cant ever try to be someone your not.

just one question…What exactly do yall think emo is? To me emo is when you cut…I cut…i look emo…and i am ppl who only look it r fakes and probably aren’t emo. So if u can tell me what u think emo means to u i would really appreciate it.

Way of life, fashion, style, music. It’s all that. Just pin-pointing it as “cutter” and leaving it at that is so.. depressing. Just because you cut yourself does not label you as emo. Its called SUICIDAL. look it up in the freaking dictionary. And DUH. Emo kids TEND to be dramatic because DUN DUN DUN! Emo means EMOTIONAL. So unless you have the emotional-stability of a 6 year old I highly doubt that you are emo MENTALLY.
Physically you are. Mentally you are not. Trying to define EMO as one thing is stupid. It’s many things.

Emo:
Stands for emotive hardcore, a music scene. Cutters are just that; depressed people.
After the underground music of, as mentioned above, emotive hardcore came out more or less into the open, people started copying how the bands dressed and had their hair done, nicknaming it ‘emo’.
After that it just evolved to what it is today, misconceptions and all.
Emo does NOT stand for emotional or emotionally unstable or whatever. Get over it.
