Emo hairstyle is popular among fashion lovers. Emo hairstyle mainly depends on personal choice and the most important characteristic of emo hairstyles is that they are colored in unique hair colors such as pink, violet or blonde. Lighter colors like white blonde, purple and green are also common with emo hairstyle lovers, especially girls, however black hair color still prevails!

im not being funny or anything but freakin hell. geez guys, you cant just think, oh i wanna look emo, lets look and dress like one. half of the people on those pics probably arent emo and would probably be pretty pissed to think someone reckons their emo and is gonna try to look like them. be yourself cuz lets face it, you cant ever try to be someone your not.

Emo:
Stands for emotive hardcore, a music scene. Cutters are just that; depressed people.
After the underground music of, as mentioned above, emotive hardcore came out more or less into the open, people started copying how the bands dressed and had their hair done, nicknaming it ‘emo’.
After that it just evolved to what it is today, misconceptions and all.
Emo does NOT stand for emotional or emotionally unstable or whatever. Get over it.

but anyways, these are scene hair cuts. Emo hair cuts are just black and usually really choppy. The girl whos hand says ‘i love myself’ should be enough to prove that these people arent Emo. Just scene. and what scene is, is kids who think emo is cool, but arent necessarily depressed enough to be emo. So basically POSERS. unless your a hardcore kid or a really cute girl thats halfway between actual emo and scene (fail on the two girls in the last pic), then you have no right by me, to rock a ‘scene’ hair cut.

Emos, never dyed there hair, they had there shit all black and had it chopped funny, spiked and hiked but the most classic is straightened with some oil to make it look grungy and placed so it covers an eye.
Cutting is just a form of self catharsis. But most kids cut themselfs now because there unsatisfied with their lives, un aware of that fact that LIFE ITS SELF, BLOWS. Theres no point in wishing you were happy if you arent. I know all sorts of people that cut. Some for pleasure, some because of pain. But lets get it straight, CUTTING DOESNT = EMO

what you describe is SCENE
there are many different sub genre of scene kids.
theres the christian scene kids, the hardcore scene (origional scene) kids, the preppy scene kids, then i bet you would know it, but theres an emo scene catagory, which is a mix of emo and hardcore. So the emos that found heavy music and pot!
