Emo- Being individual and not afraid to let others see your emotions. it doesn’t mean cutting yourself, it just means having fun being who you want to be.. and letting people know who you are and what you stand for.. mmmkayy? oh and cutting yourself isn’t something people do for attention, it is a release of trapped emotions, a way to focus on the pain of what you have just done and not what is going on in your life.. physical pain from cutting yourself to focus on that pain is much easier than trying to block out the thoughts in your head if a family member has just died.. or if your life is going shit. so back off people who don’t know what the hell Emo actually is, if people self-harm to act Emo, then get your poser ass off of this site.

you guys need to seriously stop saying stuff like “i wanna be emo” and stuff liike that because you dont become become emo, you just are…… and frankly dont get haircuts like these guys…. yeah their amazing but just find your own style and stick to it… the point of being emo is being against the floww and to stand out and if you stick to the steriotype then you will never be truly awesome…. thats my opinion, and frankly all you need to do is layeer your hair with short ragged layers on the top and long uneven layered on the bottom, and then just dy the bottom layers a dark colour and dye the top layers a bright colour that contrasts the black, or you could try white on the bottom
layers…. i dont know really but just go with what looks good on you, not some random guy…….. and i think we prefer the word “scene” to “emo” now…. im not sure…. xP
