How to Get Emo Hairstyle

An emo hairstyle generally characterizes the distinctive emo look. Getting an emo haircut is therefore essential if you wish to express your emo fashion and lifestyle. Below are some easy-to-follow steps that are essential in getting emo hair.

Straighten your hair – For a longer lasting sleek hair, go for rebonding. Or you may simply iron your hair, though it is not advisable to do so often as it can lead to dryness and damage. If you have naturally straight hair, good for you, as you can simply skip this step.

• Examine your facial features carefully and determine which feature you wish to emphasize, to enhance, or to downplay.
• Create distinct layers by dividing your hair into sections and cutting them into layered lengths. If you want to have indistinguishable layers, simply cut portions of hair downwards for that sleek uneven cut.

• Since the emo fashion is all about individuality, you may try to personalize your emo hair as well. You may cut one side very short while leaving the other side longer; or both sides are of equal length while the back is left shorter or longer.
• You may color a few streaks too to get emo hair. But stay with ash blonde or brown shades.
• Keep your emo hair smooth and sleek by cleaning and trimming it regularly.

The emo hair, like any aspect of the emo fashion, is an expression of your personality, lifestyle, and individuality. With your creativity and preference therefore, there is no limit as to what you can come up with to get an emo hairstyle.

    actually, just to quote..
“stupid people, the last one?? Look at the last one!! Emo, i think not!”
technically that is Emo, Emo is just an expression of your personality. if that is what reflects/expresses his personality then that is technically an Emo haircut ;) although i see where you are coming from with it having no fringe.
