Emo Hairstyles vs Scene Hairstyles
Alright, when you look at a Scene person, then you look at an Emo person, what do you see? Chances are, the Emo person appears to be sad, sitting their writing poetry while the Scene person is happy, outgoing and typing their friend a message about the next party.
When you take another look at the Emo person, look at their hair. The Emo hairstyle is choppy, long bangs, short on the side and long in the back. There are also short bangs and long hair on the top.
When you take a look at the Scene hair, what do you see? Within the next paragraph, we are going to stick to the title “Emo vs. Scene Hair” and tell you what the differences between scene hair and Emo hairstyles are.
First, the Emo hairstyle is choppy, but it still has that neat look to it. The guys have a tendency to have the long hair and the girls have the shorter hair. The hair is usually always dyed black with some red streaks in it and maybe some blue streaks. If the hair is not dyed black, then it is dyed platinum blonde with some black patches, usually under it. When you look at a Scene person’s hairstyle, you will find practically the same type of hair cut, almost identical. The only feature that is different is the colour of the hair. You see, Scene people usually colour their hair “fun” colours that “stand out” in the crowd. You will find some scene hairstyles that are completely one colour such as pink (yes, pink) and even blue. The colour of the hair seems to be the only difference.

You wouldn’t be here if you didn’t want an emo or scene haircut. I’m here because I’m looking up hairstyles that are unique, and ever emo cut is unique to the person sporting it. There is no “brainwashing” because people are choosing to come to this site.

a good way to look at it like this. i grew up in he punk goth rave scene and when “emo” game along i didnt know what to think, but all it is extending a already existing look to suit a nother generation.

Your mom won`t understand, my mom doesn`t. And i know how hard it can be to tellt hem about it, your rambling on it your mind, one blow at a time, but when you got to speak no words come out, or, you justc an`t say it, cause your scared what the reaction might be. So here is what i did; Sit down at the table one night for dinner, and tell ehr about it. ask her to go on the computer with you for awhile and search it and show her what it is. tell her its her taste, then use something she enjoys against her ( i know it sounds cruel, but she’s being just the same ) like my mom, used to be a rocker, heavy metal, booze blah blah blah. So ib rought that up on her. I was all like ” how did youf eel when people ahted you because you were differnt? i don`t need thatf rom my own mother!” i finally spat it out in frustration, we had a fight, but in 3 hours i got a call on my cellular with her saying ” I understand you. Its the way you express yourself, is through your emotions” Everyone is emo at one extent to another, our hair doesn`t look right so we fix and prune it. everyone does that. And no one can tell me they have ‘never cried’ . I don`t care who the HELL youa re. Chuck Norris or mr.T I don`tc are, Everyone ahs cried at one point. So don`t give me that,

no one is brainwashing anyone. If people who refer to themselves as “Emo” come here it’s because they want ideas on how to do their hair. Same with “Scene”. None of the people on this site were forced to come here. It’s merely for entertainment and looking for new ideas and/or cuts. Honestly, if you don’t know what you’re talking about, then don’t post comments. Don’t be iggnorant and act as though every “Emo” is depressed and cut themselves because that’s a load of shit. Anyone can become depressed due to a traumtic event, or maybe they’re going through a tough time. Everyone in the world expierances pain sometime in life and that does not make them “Emo.”
Furthermore, if someone is cutting themselves is because they believe it is their only way of relieving emotional pain, pyschical pain, or what have you.

idk how 2 tell my parents i want 2 b emo either!!! they say its all evil and bullcrap, but being an emo just comes natural 2 me. i have always been a quiet person who is very shy, emotional, and i sometimes just like being by myself and i don’t talk a lot, and i’d rather ppl cum 2 me and b friends and stuff, so ya, its just suits me. but the point is, my parents don’t understand, and secretly, i’m pulling some of the emo off, but im just not going 2 heavy, but i want 2,cuz thats how i want 2 express myself. i just don’t kno how 2 bring it up to them and how 2 explain that most emo’s aren’t the “evil little cutters” that they make them out 2 b. heck, lots of emo’s can b nice, right? thats what i want 2 b. but if i told my parents that i want to b a full-on emo, they would kill me and make me dress up like some sort of pussy little girl. it would b hard 2 explain 2 them cuz of their beleifs (which they take ovr board) and cuz i have 3 other siblings, but they already kno i want 2 b emo. could u plz help me?

emo is not about cutting yourself, and quite frankly it doesnt mean “emotional” because everything is emotional. it really means “emotive” as in emotive hardcore, hence emo
emo bands arent like My Chemical Romance, in fact, their lead singer called emo “bullshit” no joke! look it up
emo was started in Boston, by bands such as Rites of Sprig, look them up
these hairstyles, are no offense, poser, but that doesnt mean that they arent pretty!
