The Perfect Emo Hair Color

We have had the punk look and even the rock look but it’s time for these very well known hairstyles to move over and let a new style commence. That new style is the Emo look.

Natural hair colors are not normally considered to be very Emo so hair dye is important. There are two main colors of which you should aim for if you are trying to be Emo, one of which is jet black or blue black and the other is bleached blonde. Either way both of these are rather high maintenance and need regular touch ups to perfect the look.

For the individual involved to have their own individual look but still incorporating the Emo feel, bright streaks of color are normally adopted with the neon ones being the usual preference. There is no limit to how these streaks are applied to the hair; they could be just one in the fringe or with brightly colored highlights. The look is down to the individual, how brave they are and also how far they are willing to go.
With regards to the colors of these streaks, neon ones are perfect for the Emo look. Pink, blue and green all as bright as they can be are very popular but other colors have been sported by those that are more unique than others.

Emo hair is all about individuality and the more unique the hair color, the better. Some streaks of color look better in black hair whereas others will be better in the blonde hair and experimenting is definitely the way forward for the Emo look.

Hey, there are several stores in the malls that sell clip in extensions for pretty cheap, thats an easy way to add color to your hair, or go to any salon and ask for a temporary color, unless your hair is black it should show up without bleaching it, but that works better and makes it last longer, as someone in the business, and into my own style (some call it punk some call it emo) I totally understand what any of you mean. But I would check out Mia and Maxx, or a Regis salon around your areas to add color without freaking your parents out.

I’m 24 and my parents still freak when they see my pink highlights… it will never go away, thats not the style they were raised with so its hard to adjust.

You can totally tell in the first pic, they’re little girls. Teehee XD

The girls in the first picture are posers.
    They don’t even look emo.
And their hair looks all matted and gross. Especially the blonde.
This emo “style” is getting old.

Hey! I’ve always had something with the emo style. I like the way it looks. And I really want to change the way I look. But I’m afraid that people are going to talk about me,because of the fact that I’m not emo at all. It’s just that I like your style. The only thing I can connect to this is that I like punk-rock and that’s why I want to change my image.

What do you guys think that I should do?
Should I go for the emo style or not?
