Getting Proper Emo Style - Emo Makeup

The emo lifestyle has recently invaded the fashion world. This fashion stems from a subculture which has been formed as a follower of a certain type of music. The evolution of the emo fashion has been influenced by a type of music which promotes freedom of expression and individuality.

The emo look is best achieved by wearing an emo get-up, hairstyle, and of course, the emo make-up. And the staple aspect of the emo makeup is the black eyeliner.

In wearing emo make-up, you need to remember that your aim is to express your individuality by looking just the way you want to look. The secret in getting the right emo make-up lies in knowing how to use the eyeliner the emo way.

As mentioned earlier, black eyeliners are an essential emo make-up component. Line your lower lids heavily as well as your upper lids. You may also make it more expressive or dramatic by forming a wing-like structure at the outer edges of your lids. And a vertical line or a few vertical lines may be drawn on the lower lids for that extra emo look.

Foundation or plain powder may be used in light shades to create a dramatic contrast to your black eyeliner. Apply a dark-colored lipstick – blood-red, burgundy, deep purple, or chocolate brown are common. You may go from traditional emo colors to a more personal choice though as the goal is to express your individuality.

    Nobody wears lipstick anymore.
Tanness and nude shades of lipgloss is where it’s at.
And duh, eyeliner, but you don’t have to be scene or emo to wear it.
And who wants to look pale and washed out to create a ‘dramatic’ look?

It’s all stereotypes but the main goal is to create individuality? Is that like reverse physcology or something?
    =/

Ehh…Whut? It’s good to wear the eyeliner ‘n all that good stuff, but tha lipstick? Err…It’s better to wear tan shades of lipgloss than dark colors of lipstick.
