Emo Hair in 2011
Emo hair is an important part of the emo culture. There is not a single emo who has the exact same hairstyle. But the question is, what exactly do some of these hairstyles look like?
Well, the generic “emo” hairstyle is medium length, shaggy, black hair. However, there are some who don mohawks, who prefer rougher, edgier cuts, and also those who would just rather leave their hair long and manipulate their bangs—another important part of emo hair. This does require some frequent dying. However, some kids simply cut their hair as opposed to dying it.
Unusual colors are also normally present in emo hairstyles. These can be permanently or semi-permanently dyed into their hair, or they can be added to hair by way of extensions. Remember that many kids who cannot dye their hair should definitely make sure that they look into extensions. The main thing that you need to remember when it comes to applying extensions, especially clip in extensions, is to make sure that they are pretty much invisible. If not, they look tacky, dirty, and just kind of weird. Make sure that you look at the extensions in the mirror to make sure that they are seamless looking.
Lastly, emo hair is usually styled a variety of ways. Some emo kids tease their hair, some spike it. Some do a combination of both. Accessories, like with scene kids, are pretty popular, but are not always worn and definitely aren’t cutesy things like Hello Kitty. Bows are pretty big, rainbows, black, and definitely red accessories.
Mine is medium length and shaggy. Let’s face it. Chicks dig the emo hairstyle.

well pretty much just cut it urself or go to the hairdressers and asked for layered hair and bring a pic that u like the most and make sure that they do it the way u want

i likk emo hair && all it’s jus i’m not even close to being emo && my hair is too thick to do this kind of stuff && idk what to do.
i just got my hair cut it is like straight down then it just cuts off at the bottom of my ears it is layered but looks like doras hair if it was straight and short. I neeeeedddddd help!
